Acacia foliage is a good filler green. Handle the stems with care because they do have little thorns. The stems are stiff so we recommend using them to add softness in traditional designs but not for use in arrangements with movement. Acacia greens work well to fill in the gaps in sympathy designs and for edging tribute displays. Acacia does last well in floral foam but can be a little messy looking so it isn’t recommended for modern arrangements or more linear designs.
