  • This will begin as a contract position with a W-9 Form 
  • To begin, this position would require you to work one day a week, with the opportunity to gain more hours/days as needed. 
  • You'll be paid an agreed upon flat rate every week
  • The position will include a written contract that will include the scope of work, hours required, and timing of payments
  • Once trained, we will reevaluate to determine if this will become a permanent hourly position

Job Description

Currently seeking a sales assistant to work with new and existing customers, manage supplier relations, fulfill orders, and manage claims & substitutions. Once trained, this job can be done almost entirely online and over the phone. The ideal employee will be technically savvy, work well independently, learn quickly, and not be afraid to LOVE THEIR JOB! This will begin as a part time position working closely with the CEO, but more hours will be available during the busy season and as the company grows. The right candidate will be able to work remotely after training. If you’re looking for the opportunity for exponential growth in an exciting industry - this might be the job for you. This position is perfect for college students (3.4 GPA required) or stay at home parents looking to get back into the workforce. Responsibilities

  • Respond to emails, engage with social postings, and interact with customers
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and work with management
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Analyze the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports
  • Keep up with best practices and promotional trends
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements

  • Must have your own laptop (if you’re interested in working from home you will also need to prove you have a quiet workspace)

  • Customer service and/or sales experience
  • Excellent references - two professional, one personal
  • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Knowledge of the flower industry (or varieties) will add weight to your application
  • Technically proficient - must be able to QUICKLY pick up new programs
  • Knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, & other key programs
  • Highly motivated and target driven
  • Phenomenal grasp of the English language - written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (we will consider applicants without a degree if work experiences and/or determination make them a superior candidate) or current college student (must provide proof that you maintain 3.4 GPA or higher)
